Age UK Northumberland Bereavement Service
The Bereavement Counselling Service provides free face to face counselling over a period of up to 12-weeks for those 50+ experiencing grief. For practical advice after the loss of a loved one, please contact our Information and Advice Service on 01670 784 800. Please note once we have received the referral, you will be added to our waiting list for a call back. Call backs can be between 6 and 8 weeks. Full process between referral and receiving counselling is 3 months.
When we experience the loss of someone we love or care about, the weight of grief can feel overwhelming. Our Bereavement Support service will support you with face to face counselling with a therapist whom will work in a person centred way to assist you through your journey.
