Vision Northumberland (formally known as Northumberland County Blind Association) is a well established local charity that provides advice and support services to individuals living with a sight or hearing impairment in Northumberland to gain the knowledge, confidence and skills necessary to increase independence and fulfil life potential.

Vision Northumberland's dedicated team of staff is supported by over 100 volunteers, and operates from a purpose-built resource centre in Morpeth as well as outreach venues across Northumberland.

We provide a range of services to support visually impaired individuals including; comprehensive information and advice service, telephone befriending service, low vision assessments, a unique equipment resource library, hearing loss support and assessments, clubs and support groups, volunteer transport service, quarterly newsletters (in a range of formats), volunteering opportunities, technology peer support and Assistive Technology trouble shooting/support.

Our service is open to all individuals with sight loss and their families.

How are services delivered?

We deliver our services face-to-face, online or via telephone and email.
