Northern Learning Trust

Northern Learning Trust is a registered charity which aims to improve the potential and raise the aspirations of people by providing high quality community learning and mentoring. From our Learning Hives in Bedlington, Newbiggin and Ashington, we provide bespoke programmes of learning in English, Maths and ICT, support with job-search and applications, Learning for Health and Wellbeing and introductory qualifications in a range of vocational areas. We engage the most vulnerable, difficult to reach and disadvantaged people in our communities and give them the skills and confidence to progress.

We’re currently offering free, to anyone who doesn’t hold a level 2 qualification in maths: Intensive one-to-one maths support for adults – for up to 12 weeks

Adult engagement courses covering fun topics such as crafts, healthy cooking and beauty therapy – ‘please follow us on facebook to get up to date information about what’s happening in your area’, 

Fun family learning courses to help you to help your children with maths – ask your school to contact us to get a course in your school. 

We also provide accredited volunteer training and opportunities.
