NEFirst Credit Union is an accessible, inclusive modern organisation that offers an alternative to the high street banks for saving and an ethical and fair and affordable option for borrowing. Our loans are an alternative to high cost lending from payday loans, overdrafts and credit cards or worse, unauthorised lenders in particular, loan sharks. Borrowing from the credit union keeps the interest in the community to support the local community in financial wellbeing.

Who can use this service?
Anyone who lives OR works within our common bond, covering the whole of the North East of England and Durham area, is eligible to join NEFirst.
