Northumberland Sexual Health Services offer a range of services depending on your needs. We offer appointments and walk ins at our centres in Northumberland, as well as outreach clinics in a variety of venues including health centres and community hubs. Our services include; Contraception appointments and consultations. Treatment and screening of Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) Emergency contraception can prevent an unplanned pregnancy. The C-Card Scheme is free and confidential service offering condoms, Dams and Internal condoms, lube to young people aged 13-24 C-Card is available at a variety of locations.

Prep If you are sexually active and over 16, living in North Tyneside and Northumberland you may be eligible for PrEP.

HIV- HIV specialist nurse is available to give support and answer any questions that you may have. They can arrange any regular tests and medication that you could require so that it fits in with your lifestyle.
OPTIONS - Our Options service can help if you have not planned a pregnancy and you may require support to make the right choice for yourself, whether to continue with it, consider termination or adoption.
SEX THERAPY - In Northumberland our health practitioners can refer you for psychosexual counselling (sometimes referred to as sex therapy).

If you are aged 18 or over and live in Northumberland or North Tyneside you can request a free (STI) home testing kit online

We offer free and confidential Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea testing for people aged 15 to 24 who live in Northumberland and North Tyneside. Delivered FREE to your door.
