Newbiggin Community Boxing

Newbeing Boxing has been formulated as part of Newbiggin boxing club which was founded in 1987. Newbeing boxing are opening their doors to the community offering non-contact boxing/fitness training to help develop/maintain adults and young people’s physical and emotional wellbeing. The coaching team are fully qualified with enhanced DBS, first aid certification, safeguarding trained with a fully equipped, insured gymnasium in a safe, inviting environment. There is a charge for some of our activities, but not all.

The coaching team are enthusiastic about giving something back to the community by using their coaching skills, personalities, knowledge and experience to educate adults/young people. They have over 30 years of experience of working directly with vulnerable adults and young people who display high risk behaviours coupled with poor mental health, addiction and have suffered trauma in their lives.
